1. Community Standards
These rules govern how you treat other players outside of character.
1.A | Treat Others Well
No harassment, insults, or deliberate disruption in any channel.
No mocking skins – don't shame anyone's skin style, quality, or design.
No spam – text, voice, soundboards, bots, or derailing.
Staff have final say on what's inappropriate.
1.B | No Destruction or Interference
Don't break player builds, steal items, or damage server property.
Story-driven conflict with player agreement isn't destruction – random wrecking is.
Don't break into homes or steal from them.
Don't sabotage storylines for fun.
Don't disrupt active RP (e.g., jumping into a scene, spamming actions).
1.C | No Outside Advertising
Don't advertise other servers, Discords, or social media.
Art commissions: active members only, post only in #art-commissions.
Don't DM members to sell art without permission.
Self-promotion only in designated art channels.
1.D | Chat Expectations
Server is 18+. OOC chat can be adult but no explicit content.
Zero tolerance for real-world racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or discrimination.
No discussion of self-harm or suicide – please seek professional help.
English only in public channels.
1.E | Romance & Age Rules
Romantic RP means any non-platonic relationship with romantic or sexual tension (applies to NPCs too).
Platonic hugs, hand-holds, cheek kisses are fine.
Flirting allowed only in public, not private. ERP is banned.
Not sure? Skip it. No scene is worth your real comfort.
1.F | Be Inclusive
Welcome all players regardless of RP or D&D experience, art skill, or character design level.
These rules govern how you treat yourself and others in character.
2.A | Sensitive IC Topics
Fantasy slurs/insults allowed only in moderation and with backstory justification.
No recreational drugs. Tobacco and alcohol are fine.
Firearms are banned – any D&D gun content is disabled.
2.B | Banned Content
No graphic violence (detailed torture, dismemberment, prolonged suffering).
No sexual content (explicit scenes, descriptions, or non-consensual acts).
No disturbing themes (self-harm, suicide, extreme abuse, body horror).
No glorification of substance abuse (detailed drug use or overdosing).
When unsure, call for a scene skip.
2.C | Staying IC
Public zones are always in-character. Your actions may have consequences.
Go to your home or a private spot if you need to AFK.
When entering an active scene, emote your arrival. If hidden (invisible, ethereal), say so.
Observing an event? Get permission from the DM and every player involved.
2.D | Fair Play in Roleplay
Don't use out-of-character info (Discord chats, staff talk, etc.) to influence your character.
Don't brag OOC about your IC secrets – that's baiting.
Don't force outcomes on others without letting them respond. Use D&D rules to resolve.
2.E | IC vs OOC Boundaries
Occasional memes/jokes in IC are fine, but keep them light.
IC drama stays IC. OOC drama stays OOC.
Use /chat to switch modes – no OOC talk in IC channels.
2.F | Original Characters Only
Your character is yours alone. No family ties or personal involvement with any named character from D&D, TV, books, or other media.
2.G | Building & Gathering
No building in the wild. Small additions near your home (garden, small stable) are allowed but not protected from events.
Resource gathering needs specific tools and zones. Strip mining is useless and may get you banned.
Damaging the world with the wrong tool counts as griefing.
2.H | Combat & Taking Things
PvP needs proper IC buildup – no OOC-driven fights.
Stealing from another character requires prior agreement.
Homes are safe from theft unless a specific RP plot has staff approval.
Unlocked chests in public spots (e.g., market stalls) are fair game.
2.I | Inventory & Multiple Accounts
No item drop on death. Don't abuse this to fast-travel or heal.
No alt item transfer – your accounts cannot share items, homes, or chests.
No dual logging – only one of your accounts online at a time.
2.J | Young Characters
Child PCs must be accompanied by an adult. No lone orphans.
No romantic RP for child characters.
Kidnapping or ransom is allowed, but torture or murder of a child character is not.
2.K | Explicit Content & Scene Skips
ERP is banned on all Wanderfell platforms (in-game, Discord, DMs).
Graphic content (pregnancy, detailed killing, trauma retelling) should be cut away.
"Fade to Black" = skip uncomfortable content – anyone can request it anytime.
"Voiding" = taking back a small mistake. Not for memes or dodging consequences.
3.A | Account Rules
One home and one shop per account. Each account can have 1 active character.
Your own characters cannot interact – no meeting, trading, or RP between them.
3.B | Private Information
Keep others' private info to yourself, such as home address, IPs, payment details, or ID documents.
3.C | AI Content
Mark AI-generated content with [AI]. No shaming others for using AI. Don't spam it.
DMs may use AI for reference images during events – references only.
3.D | Mods & Exploits
No hacks, x-ray, or unfair advantages. Allowed mods: Figura, JourneyMap, Xaero's, Optifine, Sodium, Chatcraft. Ask if you are unsure.
Found a bug or exploit? Report it right away. Using it deliberately = ban.
3.E | Staff Authority
When a staff member makes a call, that's final. If you disagree, open a ticket. Don't take it to another mod or DM hoping for a different answer.
3.F | How to Request Help
Don't message staff directly for help. Use the ticket system or the ask-for-help forum channel.
3.G | Streaming & Recording Consent
Streaming and Recording content is 100% allowed, but we ask for you to ask permission from all involved in what you are doing before streaming/recording RP. Server-hosted events may be recorded for media purposes.
4.A | Server Tone & Tech
18+ server, but no ERP or graphic details. Scene skips encouraged.
Firearms are out. Technology cap: Eberron level or lower.
4.B | Event Types
Random Encounters – DMs can start these anywhere, anytime.
Scheduled Events – Posted in advance, may need signups.
Seasonal Events – Holidays, festivals, merchant fairs.
Player-Hosted Events – Weddings, contests, etc. DMs may peek in with NPCs but won't take over.
Dungeons – One run per character. Needs a DM and a party.
Traveling Merchants & Auctions – Random or planned.
4.C | Event Rescheduling
If a DM cancels, they'll try to rehost within two weeks. No-shows may be replaced.
4.D | Participation Mindset
You are your character. Don't hide in corners and engage with the world. It's more fun that way.
4.E | Character Progression
Starting level: 1
Bonus: One extra feat at level 1
HP: Average (no rolling)
Stats: Point buy
Leveling: 300 EXP per hour of active RP (daily cap). Double EXP on weekends. Also earn from dungeons, events, daily logins.
Tiers: 1–5, 6–10, 11–15, 16–20
4.F | Reflavoring Rules
Cosmetic changes only. No mechanical benefits. A bear that looks like a spider still uses bear stats.
Your character sheet stays as written, but you can describe yourself however you like.
Try to keep your appearance somewhat aligned with your race. A centaur's stats don't mix with a tabaxi's look.
5.A | No Pressuring DMs
Never demand events or push DMs to run something.
Spectating requires permission from the DM and every player in the scene.
5.B | No Sneaky Invites
Don't secretly message friends to "happen" upon your scene. Don't use voice chat to coordinate unannounced arrivals.
5.C | Rewards Are Not Promised
Events may give nothing at all. When loot drops, split it fairly with your party – don't hoard.
5.D | Good Table Practices
Match the scene's tone. Keep jokes out of serious moments.
Let each player control their own turn. No backseat driving.
Accept DM rulings as they can adjust stats and rules for their event.
Plan your action ahead of time.
Keep OOC chatter to a minimum.
Be patient with newcomers – not everyone knows D&D or Minecraft perfectly.
5.E | Boundaries & Opt-Out
Get clear consent before altering another character's story in major ways.
Anyone can say "no" or leave a scene, no questions asked. Logging off is always an option.
6.A | Residences
Homes can double as shops.
Only one property per character.
Basements need pre-approval.
Exteriors must fit the fantasy theme if modified.
6.B | Storefronts
One shop per player.
You may sell any collectable item.
NPC shop prices seem off? Let us know and we may tweak them.
6.C | Guild Plots
Requires an application to obtain.
6.D | Moving Out
Unlock all doors and chests before leaving. Return story items to DMs.
Need help? Just ask.
7. Final Notes
Ignorance is not an excuse. If you break a rule, expect a warning, temporary suspension, or ban depending on severity.
One may be banned even if no rules were broken officially, because some things should not have to be written down.
Moderators reserve the right to update rules - announcements will be made.
Have fun, be kind, and help us tell great stories together.
